Caroline
paints almost exclusively in oils, bringing a fresh eye to the various
subjects she undertakes, including still life painting, which she
elevates on to a new plane. Her work is distinguished by a calm
meditative quality, and although echoing the work of 20th century
painters as diverse as Morandi, Uglow and Fedden, it is entirely
her own, hard won in form and detail. |
