Caroline paints almost exclusively in oils, bringing a fresh eye to the various subjects she undertakes, including still life, portraits, nudes and landscapes which she elevates on to a new plane. Her work is distinguished by a calm meditative quality, and although echoing the work of 20th century painters as diverse as Euan Uglow, Lucian Freud and Mary Fedden, it is entirely her own, hard won in form and detail.
This year, Caroline has been awarded the '2015 Conte a Paris Award' at 'The Pastel Society' Exhibition for her portrait drawing - 'Rock Star' (charcoal). www.thepastelsociety.org.uk
She will be exhibiting at the 'Royal Society of Portrait Painters'
